Vendor-managed inventory (VMI) Android app update Posted on February 20, 2023February 20, 2023 by Brandy McNeil As part of an upcoming security update, we have released an update to the Android version of our vendor-managed inventory (VMI) app. This change only affects Android phones and tablets. Apple iPhones and tablets will not be affected. What is changing? An updated version of the Border States VMI app is available for download in the Google Play Store. What will I need to do? Go out to the Play Store and confirm you receive the new update. You may automatically receive the app update if you have automatic app updates enabled on your device. After the update is complete, you will be running version 3.1.2. Here is a link to Google support on how to perform the app update manually Follow the below steps to confirm your app version: Open your phone Settings (should be the typical gear icon) Tap Apps or Application manager Tap See All Apps (SupplyTrax VMI may be in the recently updated list on this screen) Tap SupplyTrax VMI Scroll to the bottom of the screen to view the version. You should see version 3.1.2 Is there a deadline for the app update? Please have this update completed by end of day Wednesday February 22. The existing app will no longer allow you to upload orders beginning Thursday February 23.
