Divisions of Border States

Our company, Border States, began in 1952 as Thompson-Stolee Company, Inc. Since then, we’ve grown organically and through mergers and acquisitions with exceptional companies.

These connections have helped us become the company we are today: Border States. We’ve built a solid foundation to provide quality products, services and solutions. The goal is clear: Provide supply chain solutions for electrical contractors; industrial operations; and power, natural gas and telco utilities.

We have a history of growth through mergers and acquisitions. These connections helped us gain industry knowledge, grow our product expertise and fulfill our customers’ needs.

Our company has become a source of incredibly talented people and great companies. These companies no longer operate under these names—they do business as Border States.
