FARGO, N.D. — As of April 1, 2020, Shealy Electrical Wholesalers, a Division of Border States, is officially Border States Electric (BSE).
Shealy Electrical Wholesalers joined BSE on August 1, 2016, serving customers as Shealy Electrical Wholesalers, a Division of Border States. The blended name and an incremental approach to changing its brand to BSE balances the need to continually increase and leverage the prominence of the BSE name with customers, vendors and employee-owners, and maintain a connection to the well-known and respected Shealy name in locations across North Carolina and South Carolina. The transition includes signage on buildings, Google locations and all communication.
BSE provides products and services to construction, industrial and utility customers. The 100 percent employee-owned company is rated the seventh largest electrical distributor in the U.S. by Electrical Wholesaling magazine. BSE has approximately 2,600 employees and 98 branches in 22 states. The Branch Support Center (corporate office) is in Fargo.
