FARGO, North Dakota — Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity and Border States have recently completed their second annual build partnership.
Beginning in the parking lot at Border States’ Branch Support Center (corporate office) in May 2023, the home was later moved to Dilworth, Minnesota, where it was completed in December 2023. A home dedication was held in mid-December to celebrate the completion of the home and the beginning of this new chapter for the Amuri family.
This partnership creates a unique opportunity for Border States employee-owners to live out our purpose to leave our world better than we found it and to encourage others to find ways to impact their communities and the globe. Employee-owners volunteered more than 360 hours on this year’s build with the build location in the parking lot, which allowed employee-owners to incorporate volunteerism as a part of their workday.
