Heroes are worth remembering.
That’s why many employee-owners from Border States wish to again step up to help Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity – this time by taking part in its 2017 Hero Build.
The project will take place at the property where, in February 2016, Fargo (ND) Police Officer Jason Moszer lost his life in the line of duty.
A wall-raising ceremony was held at the site Sept. 28 to launch the Hero Build, which is meant to re-ignite joy and foster healing in the heart of the Fargo-Moorhead community.
The Hero Build is a celebration of new life for a neighborhood that has been constantly reminded of tragedy. The project will provide a new home for Danielle John, a sex-trafficking survivor and human-trafficking specialist at Youthworks, and her four children.
Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is one of many organizations employee-owners have enjoyed giving back to. Stay tuned to see our work with the Hero Build!
