Freedom is a beautiful thing.
It protects us, unites us, empowers us and gives us hope – even in the darkest of days. It’s an incredibly precious gift that’s made possible by the bravery of countless men and women who have sought to protect the U.S. Constitution.
Unfortunately, it’s also something that many of us so easily take for granted in this busy world. Freedom is the very thing that allows us to feel safe in our homes, spend time with loved ones, hold our beliefs and pursue our dreams.
At Border States, we’re reminded of our freedom every day, whether it’s through Red Shirt Fridays, patriotic giveback opportunities or the many veterans who work beside us within our 100 percent employee-owned, American company. How wonderful it is that we have the freedom to pursue our dream of helping construction, industrial and utility professionals build and power a better world around us.
Veterans Day is a time we set aside to honor and remember those whose sacrifices have made so many dreams possible. Today, we’re reminded of how fortunate we are, and we thank those who have answered the call of duty to protect our freedoms and our country. We can never fully repay the debt we owe them, but we can share our gratitude and honor them with how we live our lives every day.
